Q: Can I run with my dog?
A: Dogs are NOT permitted.
Q: Is the trail technical?
A: There are many rocks and roots in places and some relatively short climbs and descents but it is not a technical trail.
Q: Can I switch from the marathon to the half marathon?
A: Yes, send us an email by June 1st. You may also decide once you're on the course and just let us know at the finish line timing trailer.
Q: Is there a discount if I want to register to run on both days?
A: Yes, contact us before you register and we'll send you a discount code.
Q: Is there camping available?
A: Yes, Clackamas Lake, Oak Fork, Gone Creek, Stone Creek, Hood View, Pine Point and North Arm campgrounds are all on or near the lake. Reserve early! Reservations can be made through recreation.gov and sites are available on a rolling schedule up to 6 months in advance.
Q: Are spectators allowed?
A: Yes. Do not drive into any campground areas unless you are a registered guest. A good viewing area is at the day use fee area near the dam. Observe all parking requirements (such as day use fee) and restrictions.
Q: Can I change my shirt size?
A: You may go to runsignup.com and change your shirt size until May 1, 2026 or the event sells out - which ever comes first. No shirt size exchanges will be made at the race.
Q: Is there a gear check?
A: Yes, bags and markers will be available for you to self-check gear.
